The Lord has been doing amazing things in our Healing Pools ministry! He has a plan and purposes for each of us, and is intimately involved in our lives. As you read these testimonies, realize again that stories don't just tell us what Yeshua did, but what He does! As He touched these lives and brought deliverance and healing, He can do the same for you. He wants you to walk in your divine destiny!
Recently a pastor and his wife from England came in for prayer. It was the first year anniversary of the burial of their adult daughter who had died of cancer. As they wept their way through prayers of release and forgiveness towards God and two doctors, they received inner healing and felt again the presence of the Lord. God also gave them a word: The comfort by which you were comforted, you will comfort others
(2 Cor. 1:4) which greatly encouraged them.
Several people who were recently prayed with at Healing Pools have reported that the Lord healed them or brought a breakthrough into their situations. As important as physical healing is to us, emotional healing and breakthroughs are often crucial to our walking in victory, and we give thanks to the Lord for each one.
- One woman with pain in her body was healed. She no longer has the pain.
- Another lady felt the Lord's healing as we prayed for her heart problem.
- Another wanted a fresh touch from the Lord, and left the room giggling and a little wobbly after our time of prayer. It was wonderful!
- A lady was struggling in specific areas and received a great measure of breakthrough in her situation soon after the prayer time.
- Another woman said she was very encouraged after receiving prayer.
- Yet another lady received prayer for her barren womb and wept as the Lord assured her that she would give birth.
The healing pools provide a perfect opportunity to pray for the needs of the Jewish believers in our community. One team was deeply touched by the opportunity to pray with a young Jewish woman who had an abortion prior to coming to faith in Yeshua. The young woman wept as she grasped God's mercy for her, realizing that one day she would be re-united with her baby in heaven. She has fresh faith that God has fully forgiven her, and hopes to be married in the future, believing that God will not hold this past action of murder against her. It was a profound time of emotional healing.
One team ministered to an elderly man with a very damaged heart and many other afflictions. God definitely touched him. We don't know if he received healing physically, but he did receive a measure of emotional healing. His Jewish father had told him to leave his house when he was 18, and a Baptist pastor and his family took him in. A male team member stood in for his dad and asked his forgiveness. The elderly man hugged our team member and wept his way to healing. We all wept with him!
Another healing we love to see is that of salvation or recommitment to the Lord. Spiritual healing causes rejoicing on earth and in Heaven! One team member led an Arab man to Yeshua (this may have been a recommitment), and he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. The team also prayed over the addictions that held him captive. He was instructed quite firmly to study the Bible, pray daily, and attend worship services weekly.
A lady came in with complaints of aches down her left side. One team member felt there was a misalignment, so she asked her to sit straight up in her chair with her legs out. The leader held her feet in her hands. Sure enough, one leg was 1/2 inch shorter than the other. They began to pray in the Spirit and within just a minute or two, they saw the short leg move out and even up with the other. The prayer leader didn't even have time to say it was done before the lady began to shout loudly, "I'm healed. I'm healed. I felt it move!" The pain was gone and she was still exclaiming God's praise as she left.
May the Lord receive all the glory, honor, and praise for the work He is doing in Healing Pools! If you would like to receive prayer from our ministry teams, please come to the Jerusalem Prayer Tower (14th floor of the Clal building) following our Sunday evening services. Teams are waiting to pray with you there.
