Expecting the Promise - Evening and Morning, Day 6
Friday May 14th - Shabbat May 15th
Fruit of the Spirit: Gentleness
Gift of the Spirit: Prophecy
If one had entered the Prayer Tower in the late hours of Friday evening, they would have seen a room packed with Ethiopian believers passionately pouring out their hearts and souls unto God.
"Bless the Lord, you who stand by night in the house of the Lord!"
Night Watch servants opened up the Torah Portion for this week of Numbers 4-7, receiving revelation within the Word.
With thanks and supplication, we asked God for His gift of prophecy to be in all our prayers, this good and perfect gift coming down from our Father of lights above.
Like the prophet Daniel, the Sunrise Morning Watch opened the windows of the Prayer Tower's eastern corridor overlooking the Temple Mount and worshipped with the instruments. "Come Word of God, King Yeshua, surround us on all sides, before and behind, dwell within us."
Intercessors proclaimed deliverance over Iran from oppression, an exposure and recognition of anti-Semetism within the church, and a repentance with restoration through blessing the seed of Abraham -- Genesis 12:3.
Together this Shabbat we blessed this city of Jerusalem with the shalom of God, asking Him to make it a praise in the earth and thanking the Holy Spirit for His revelation and might to come.
We gave thanks to the Lord for increasing faith for the sons of Jacob and the extended household of Israel to fly to resting places in Israel like the doves flying to their resting places in our windows of the Prayer Tower here in Jerusalem.
During the afternoon Shabbat watch, intercessors from Taiwan who have been praying with us during these 10 nights and days of "Expecting the Promise" Skyped in to pray in their Mandarin tongue together with their Hong Kong pastor, and pastors Reuven and Wayne, here on site.
Thanks be to God for our the joy of our extended family in the nations!
