Dear Family
The Kehila (the Church) was birthed in signs and wonders - not in Africa, Singapore or Italy, but right here in Jerusalem. In Acts 1, as Yeshua ascended into heaven, two angels declared to the stunned disciples: “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Yeshua, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
The obvious meaning is that Yeshua went up from earth to heaven and will return from heaven to earth. But I believe there is deeper meaning as well:
- He left Jerusalem and will return to Jerusalem (Zech. 14:1-4).
- He left the Jerusalem Kehila on the verge of a deep spiritual awakening (Acts 2), and He will return in the midst of a spiritual awakening.
Has not God raised up a remnant in the heart of Jerusalem to believe for such things?! Has He not brought together a people from nations all over the world, including many from this nation, to gather together as a holy witness to what will come? Yes, we are a prophetic people and we live in strategic times.
I know I speak for Wayne when I say that we are so grateful for each and every one of you that the Lord has called to be a part of King of Kings Community. May we see revival together in Jerusalem!
One more thing... I know I don’t need to remind you, but please continue to pray for our senior leader, Wayne Hilsden, while he recovers from his recent heart attack.
Thank you!
Committed to the Messiah’s Mandate,
Ron Cantor, Associate Pastor
