Redeemed in Zion is a vital social assistance program of King of Kings Community. It was established for the purpose of assisting Jewish believers in extreme need, both immigrants and native Israelis, to be permanently established in their homeland. Redeemed in Zion assists these needy families by providing basic products like refrigerators, washing machines or beds.

Redeemed in Zion is inspired by Isaiah 51:11:

“Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.”

Last week I was visiting with some Messianic Jewish families in the northern part of Israel. One Russian woman was crying as she received a gas stove from us, and she was giving thanks to God who is the one providing for all her needs.

A while back I visited a single-parent family, where the mother had been sitting with her children and praying for a refrigerator for quite some time. When we now came from Redeemed in Zion and blessed them with this gift, the children thought angels of the Lord had visited them in answer to their prayers.

It is wonderful to see how God’s name is being lifted up and glorified through such practical gifts being provided to His needy children from Him, via Redeemed in Zion.
