Praise & Prayer Directives - September 2011

Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, weep between the porch and the alter; Let them say, ‘Spare your people, O LORD, and do not give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, and pity His people. The LORD will answer and say to His people, Behold, I will send you grain and new wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations: But I will remove far from you the northern army…
Joel 2:17-20a
- As we enter the remaining days of preparation before the LORD's Day of Trumpets beginning Sept. 28th eve followed in 10 days by the solemn Day of Atonement, then His week-long Feast of Tabernacles beyond, let us turn our hearts and pray with repentance for our nations and for the shalom of Jerusalem so that her salvation may "Arise and shine" in this momentous hour and that Jewish and Gentile believers may stand together as "one new man" in Yeshua.
- Pray for the LORD's merciful intervention in hearts of the men and women of Jerusalem that He would turn them into His pathway of repentance and restoration.
- Thank God for pouring out the Spirit of grace and supplication upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem at this time that they might call upon the Name of the LORD Yeshua and be saved from all their enemies.
- Pray that the LORD of the harvest to send forth His workers into the field for the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. Ask for the release of entrance visas for those desiring to serve the LORD in Israel.
- Pray for the nations who will take a stand and vote in the Palestinian proposal to the UN for recognition of a unilaterally declared Palestinian state while refusing to recognize Israel as a Jewish state this September.
- Praise for returning and new volunteer staff for the ministry of worship and intercession in the Jerusalem Prayer Tower! We look forward to celebrating the Autumn Festivals of the LORD here in Jerusalem beginning September 28th eve with the Day of Trumpets / Yom Teruach / Rosh Ha Shana.
- Praise the LORD for individual visitors both local and international he has brought up to the Prayer Tower's top floor this summer to catch vision for ministry unto the LORD!
- Pray for the Holy Spirit Border Patrol to defend and surround Israel that there may be peace for Jerusalem.
- Praise for the building up of the congregation of many in Jerusalem.
- Praise God for many who will meet together for a city-wide prayer gathering to be held on Sept 6th, 7PM at the Shemen Sasson facility in Jerusalem interceding for the shalom of the LORD over hearts in this worship capital of the world, the region, and peoples within this nation of Israel.
- Praise God for opening new doors, expanding the ministries of the international King of Kings congregation as well as the Hebrew speaking congregation Melech Hamlachim.
- Praise God for this new season of vibrant discipleship study groups for men and women entering a new season in the study of kingdom principles found in Matthew chapter six.
- Pray protection and blessing to surround our marriages, families, youth, young adults and singles as many enter fresh challenges this Autumn either in ministry/work endeavors, schooling, learning Hebrew, army service, or serving, that we would wait on the LORD and so He would renew our strength to accomplish all we are called to do.
- Please continue to pray for the raising up of more God appointed volunteers for this new season in King of Kings Children's Ministry and a fresh anointing to serve for all the current volunteers.
- Praise the Lord for a recent successful one-day children's event held in conjunction with the Hebrew speaking congregation. Please pray that the Lord will continue to build on what was imparted to the children.
- Please pray that the Lord will use the new curriculum that we are beginning to use with the 6+ age-group to make a lasting impact in the children's lives.
- Praise the LORD for bringing students to participate in Kings School of Media and Yuval School of Music and the Arts.
- Praise God for Kings School of Media newly arrived instructors, Aaron and Tamara of California USA.
