Malcolm Hedding

Executive Director, ICEJ

Malcolm Hedding

From the ICEJ website:

In November 2000, the Reverend Malcolm Hedding was appointed the Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem after serving as an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God of South Africa for 25 years. Malcolm has a long relationship and love for Jerusalem and Israel. From 1986 to 1989, he served in Jerusalem as ICEJ Chaplain, and on the pastoral staff of the Jerusalem Christian Assembly, now the King of Kings Assembly. Upon his return to South Africa in 1989, Malcolm founded the Olive Tree Assembly of God in Durban. He has been a seminar teacher and plenary speaker at the ICEJ's annual Christian Celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and at other Embassy-sponsored events. He has also been an active member of the ICEJ Association, and traveled extensively as a "spokesman" of the ministry at the invitation of the international branches. In February 2001, Malcolm was invited to chair the 4th Christian Congress on Biblical Zionism in Jerusalem, having been heralded as one of the foremost Zionist theologians in Christianity, with a profound understanding of Israel's role in Eschatology. Since 1991 he has also served as Chairman of "Christian Action for Israel", a biblical Zionist organization. Malcolm lives with his wife Cheryl in Jerusalem. They have three children, and three grandchildren.
