While on an intercession tour here in Israel, Ray and Denise Hughes (Selah Ministries) including their tour group of 47 were special guests of the Jerusalem Prayer Tower on Thursday evening, October 21st. Brian and Ramey Whalen (Ray's daughter and son-in-law) and Alistar and Ryan from YWAM in Hawaii led in anointed, passionate, dynamic worship including Praises Rise.

Ray has a very unique and richly anointed prophetic teaching and imparting gift in the realm of worship, intercession and the role that sound and light play in these areas.

Ray delivered a mandate for us to "raise up the sound in the land; thus raising up the ruins." When we carry God's heart, we begin to carry God's sound. Coming into agreement with heaven and releasing that agreeing sound, a kiss happens on the earth and a shift takes place. "Why can't we dream the dream of God and see a shift tonight?" Ray challenged.

We were greatly encouraged in our understanding of worship by being shown how far-reaching and active the various original Hebrew words for "praise" are compared to the English translation.

Ray prayed a powerful prophetic prayer concerning Jerusalem Prayer Tower and greatly encouraged our hearts. We will hold onto this timely word in the days ahead as we continue to stand as "watchmen on the walls".
