...and Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

Regularly people knock at our door saying they’ve heard we can help them. Their needs are endless, but the ER (emergency rations) Cupboard offers some hope. Believers and unbelievers leave with a parcel of dry goods and a little love which is often sealed with a prayer.
One woman, referred by a believing friend, never stops saying thank you from the first item which is put into her bag until the very last. Another woman’s expensive, life saving prescription was paid by the small ER cash fund. Even a local soup kitchen approached us when they first opened their doors, and though we could only provide them with some basic items, they were so grateful for the help. Another recipient is a widow who lost her husband to illness and she is raising a little boy on her own. The ER Cupboard is dependent upon the donations of non-perishable goods and finances. Pray that our cupboards stay full.
