Women’s Retreat - Report
The Lord met with us wonderfully at the women's retreat in March. Over 50 of us were able to attend this special time of seeking God and being with each other. Ulla Nuoraho handled the registration and organization, and Ann Hilsden led our times of worship. Sheli Myers shared with us on being living sacrifices, Betty Yarborough taught us on guarding our hearts, and Yanit Ross taught on God's healing and freedom for our souls. We sought the Lord privately and corporately, prayed for one another, and had great fellowship over meals. The only complaint was that the retreat was too short!
If you attend King of Kings and have not yet connected to the women's ministries, please do! We have started a new series in discipleship growth groups on Wednesday evenings at 6:00. This is open to all women - both new and mature believers. We are looking at traits of disciples, the relationship between a disciple and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and God's purposes in commanding us to make disciples. For more information, please phone the office at 625-1899 and speak to Ulla or Yanit.
