…with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.Isaiah 54:8b
King’s Kindness is a vital assistance program here at King of Kings Community. The goal of this program is to provide individuals and families in need with practical assistance. We supply food from our Emergency Relief cupboard for them, as well as help channel funds for the poor in Israel. King’s Kindness also contributes towards the purchase of home appliances for New Immigrants, and helps the members of our community when they are in times of need. Through this program, we have been able to assist dozens of families, helping to make their lives easier.
As the needy enter our 9th floor office, the first person they encounter is Ulla Nuoraho. In addition to manning the reception desk, Ulla has also been instrumental in our King’s Kindness program. When someone comes to our offices seeking assistance, Ulla is the one who takes care of them and gives them what they need, whether it be food, prayer, or even just advice on life situations.
Counseling and teaching on financial management is another way King’s Kindness assists people in need. Through Veikko Nuoraho’s financial seminars, many people have learned to make wiser use of their finances.
