Chad and Rebecca, along with their 3 children, made aliyah in July of 2014. Chad was the Senior Leader of Brit Hadasha Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Memphis, prior to their move. Chad began in full time ministry in 1999 in Gaithersburg, MD. The Holland family enjoys being involved in discipleship, small groups, marriage counseling, hospitality and leadership training. Rebecca is an amazing chef, musician and artist. They both enjoy being outdoors and exercising. To make Chad smile, mention baseball. To make Rebecca smile mention her children or making anything homemade.

  • Wayne & Ann Hilsden

Co-Founder, President, Elder, Executive Team Member

Originally from Canada, Wayne and Ann arrived in Israel in 1983 to help Jim and Kathy Cantelon establish King of Kings. A few years later, Jim and Kathy followed the Lord to new adventures and Wayne became the Senior Pastor. You can learn more about their history here. Meanwhile, Wayne and Ann had their own adventure raising 4 boys in Jerusalem, and now 2 grandchildren! Their love for Israel, worship and building up others in ministry in the land is evident in all they do.

  • Kurt & Maggy Vetterling

Elder, Associate Pastor, Executive Team Member

Kurt and Maggy first joined our team in August of 2012 and came to us from Colorado. They can be found doing a variety of things, but you'll spot Kurt first since he's basically the tallest person we all know. They love having friends over for dinner (eat your veggies, Maggy is a bit of a health nut) and spending time outside. If you join them for a meal, be prepared to play with their golden retriever, Emma.

  • Oded & Sandy Shoshani

    Senior Pastor, Hebrew Congregation

Oded and Sandy Shoshani lead the thriving Hebrew speaking congregation at King of Kings. Their dynamic children and youth ministries are ever growing. Powerful worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and small groups provide a nurturing environment for local believers. The Shoshanis, with their wonderful family of seven, are involved in many facets of ministry, including media, international outreach, pro-life ministries, discipleship, counseling and more.

  • Michael Bryan

    Financial Manager

Michael became a part of our team in 2016, when he and his wife made aliyah. He is a Messianic Jewish Rabbi who pastored in two Messianic Jewish congregations in the USA for a total of 28 years.  He and Patricia love blessing others and helping in the Kingdom of God.  They have a passion for Israel and the Jewish people.  They enjoy the beach, sailing, family (including their 14 grandchildren!), exploring Israel, hosting home gatherings and meals and meeting new people.

  • Daniel & Jalene Geppert

Youth, Human Resources, IAM assistance and Childrens

This dynamic duo (now trio!) met in Tel Aviv in 2010 volunteering at a hospital with children. While Daniel is originally from Germany and Jalene is from Canada, it was Israel that brought them together. After three years of marriage they gave birth to their beautiful daughter. Both Daniel and Jalene have a love for Israel, and especially for the younger generations here.

  • Michael Cohen

    Web Developer

We have known Michael since he was a boy, but now he is on our team and still keeping us young by helping us stay technologically savvy! He and his wife Bethany have three gorgeous blonde little girls that keep them on their toes. Michael can be found working late in the afternoons, sitting with his lunch and wearing one of his many t-shirts that sport a one-liner destined to make you laugh.

  • Nick DeVall

    Sound & Lighting Director

Originally from Colorado, Nick traveled to and from Israel for 5 years before joining our team. His heart was here, we just had to bring the rest of him! Prior to moving to Jerusalem, he worked as a sound engineer for 8 years, with additional experience in lighting and video and a degree in electrical construction. Give him a hands-on job, or anything to do with music, and he's happy! When he's not working, he spends time taking pictures and furthering his knowledge in mixing sound. Nick's contagious laugh brings joy to everyone around him!

  • Rita Donigan

    Reception, Heritage Service Worship Director

Born in the Old City, Rita has always lived in Jerusalem. Visitors will meet her smiling face at our main office, but she is also on our worship team, and helps out with all of the children, youth and young adult ministries! When she isn't busy helping out in a variety of ways around King of Kings, she is studying, shopping and enjoying life in Israel! Her love for music and fashion shines through in everything that she does.

  • Sam Kawaneh

    Planting pastor

Sam is serving as our Planting Pastor, called to build Malek El-Molouk Arab Community to love God and the Jewish people. Sam oversees the Arab hotline which serves to answer questions and share the message of Yeshua to the Arab community. • Derek Chang

    Planting Pastor

Derek Chang has worked in other fields of ministry for a number of years, is an excellent Chef (having owned his own restaurants in the past).  One of Dereks greatest areas of anointing is in his gift of sounding the shofar and teaching others to do the same.  Dereks heart of servanthood and humility and will be helping the King of Kings team plant an Asian Prayer House and a Chinese Speaking Congregation.

  • Michael and Melissa Mott

    Elder, Assistant Pastor, Development

Mike & Melissa and their two children, Joshua and Abby, are originally from Colorado, but they're no strangers to Israel! Mike and Melissa lived in Israel for over 10 years, had both of their children here and were very involved in the community at King of Kings and other local ministries. We were so sad to see them leave Israel for awhile, but overjoyed to have them back and on our team! Their love for community, familes, worship and the Jewish people is evident in everything that they do.

  • Veikko & Ulla Nuoraho

Elder, Assistant Pastor, Kings Kindness, Executive Assistant, and Women's Ministry

Veikko and Ulla joined the team in 2003, a few years after they moved to Israel from Finland. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren, whose faces can be seen framed in their offices. When asked what they do at King of Kings, most people will reply “everything,” and they are correct. Veikko’s sense of humor and Ulla’s loving heart (and baking) are a treasure to the team, even if we aren’t always sure what they’re saying to each other in Finnish.

  • John & Tikvah Ott

James & Melissa originate from Kansas City, Missouri, where they met and married, and where James has three beautiful daughters currently residing. They have a great desire to be a blessing to the nation and the people of Israel. • Drew Powell

    Media Director

Drew joined us in 2016, hailing from the southern state of Georgia in the USA . (Although, he'll point out that "the only thing southern about me is my hospitality!") Either way, he loves to laugh and enjoy life and we're so glad he's doing it with us. Drew has experience in video editing for tv, doing gigs for top Christian artists and in graphic design. He loves to use these gifts to help tell the stories we need to hear, especially the unheard ones. As a result, he also loves experiencing different cultures and people from all walks of life, even though his favorite person is without a doubt his nephew.

  • Denver Root

    IT Director

Joining us from Texas, Denver has been working in Information Technology for over 10 years and we're thrilled to have his expertise on our team! He first visited Israel in 2010 and even though he admits to thinking sand is the worst thing ever placed on earth, he hopes to one day live in the desert. Living in Israel is a good place to start fulfilling that dream! When he isn't helping all of us (which isn't often!) Denver loves to get out from behind the computer screen and explore, meet new people and spend time in the scriptures.

  • Daniel & Carol Ketchum

    Watch Leaders

Daniel and Carol joined the ministry team in October 2014. During four decades of pastoral and global ministries, the Lord kept drawing their hearts through the Word to His purposes and promises for the people of Israel. The Spirit led them into Kingdom convergence with King of Kings, Wesleyans, Nazarenes, and the Body of Yeshua around the world. They embrace worship-based prayer in the Prayer Tower and lead a community group near Herzliya. Greg and Tami have two children, Jadyn and Micah and recently a Great Dane ‘puppy’.  They are all excited about making Israel their home.

Anchor of Hope Family Counseling Center

Yuval School of Music & the Arts

  • Irit Iffert

    Director

Irit has the biggest smile on the team! She is a joy to be around and the children love her! We were thrilled when the idea for Yuval came about and currently King of Kings sponsors the program along with a few other Israeli ministries. It has now blossomed in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Irit has both the heart and the vision for the school, not to mention the energy! You can also keep an eye out for her smiling face on our worship team!

  • Jael Kalisher

    Assistant Director

Jael and Irit have been friends for many years and now they work at Yuval together, in fact they are roommates too! Jael is an incredible addition to the team at Yuval and also helps in the recording studio in the Pavilion. Jael grew up in Israel and her father pastors another local congregation in Jerusalem, so she's not new to the community! In addition to keeping up with the kids in Yuval, Jael also enjoy playing basketball on a local team.

  • Anna Suomalainen

    Administration, Teaching

Anna joins our team from Finland, but is no stranger to Israel. She felt the call to this land many years ago and has worked for different organizations involved with Israel, such as Eagles Wings with Robert Stearns. Anna has a degree in Art Education and has also taken courses on inner healing with Ellel ministries. We are happy to have her helping with the Yuval School and any creative arts that we can pull her into! Look for Anna with a paintbrush in her hand or outdoors enjoying the Israeli sushine!

The Pavilion

Rafi and his wife, Eti, have three children and are also loving grandparents.
